Unfortunately, I rate these folks as very untrustworthy. I dropped my Jetta off very early in the morning for a quote on brakes and some other minor work such as cabin air filter, flush coolant, etc. They said they'd have the quote done within an couple hours.
At 10:00am I hadn't heard anything so called the shop. They said they were just getting to it and should be done before noon.
At 12:30 I called again and they said they were just pulling it into the bay and would get to it right away.
By 4:00 I showed back up to the shop to get the quote. They had no quote and I saw the mechanic pulling the car into the bay. I was very put off.
The mechanic asked if I could wait 30 minutes while they worked up the quote. I said that any trust was gone and it wouldn't matter how the quote came out I couldn't give them my business. He offered me a free oil change to make up for the lying. Sorry. Too late. Trust was out the window and how do I know he wouldn't "forget" he offered me the free oil change once I was off the lot. Besides, what quality work should I expect when they're willing to lie about the small stuff?
I would never give these guys any business and would advise others to stay away from folks who believe they can mislead without accountability.
