John's Auto is everything one could possibly want in an auto repair shop. We've dealt with them for fifteen years and only wish we'd met them years earlier. Dave, the proprietor and son of the founder, is a pleasure to do business with. He is knowledgeable, thorough, honest and takes the time to explain what is needed and why. The car is always ready when promised and we've never had to return it because he didn't do the job right in the first place. (Again, this spans fifteen years though only three cars (Fords) as we've managed to get over 200,000 miles out of them, primarily due to Dave's skill in maintaining them. Even when they do go, it's due to rust, not mechanical problems.) The shop is unpretentious though he uses nothing but the most modern equipment available. While we would be willing to pay premium prices for the reasons cited above, his rates are in fact about forty percent less than those charged by Ford dealers. Life has enough difficulties in the best of circumstances. It is a real pleasure to be able to forgo those in one area that most people find to be full of stress. I can't say enough nice things about John's Auto and would recommend them to anybody.
