They easily could have hosed me. I asked them to do a tune up and change the oil and transmission fluid. They called me and said that the spark plugs were like new and so was the transmission fluid. When I checked with my wife, sure enough, she had already had that work done a few months ago (at another shop).

They replaced my brakes and rotars when I purchased the parts from a retail
store and did wonderful job for a reasonable price. However, when the
battery for my car died they ran close to a hundred dollar diagnostic test and
then put a 6 year battery in a car that is already 11 years old without
consulting me if I wanted a cheaper version.
They are very good about explaining repairs, but I feel the prices are high.
There is a shuttle that will take you short distances, but the shop closes on
the weekends and early in the evening.

Very polite, reliable and willing to explain everything in
detail when I ask. Unfortunately, repair prices are now
more like those of the dealership, perhaps even more for
some jobs.

They do a great job, have a great attitude, woman who
works in the shop is great - doesn't make me (a woman)
feel stupid. Shuttle to work. The only negative is they
tend to keep my car for too many days.

They have been nothing, but nice and competent. They have
fixed both our Volvo XC90 and Ford F150. Prices extremely
reasonable. They don't make unnecessary repairs. Trust
them completely and have changed this "dealer only" girl to
a "never dealer again".

Great shop! I went in for an state inspection on a used car
I bought and they spent a good deal of time researching the
source of a mysterious leak in the engine. They ended up
determining that the leak was from the previous owner
spilling oil all over the engine when they changed it last.
I had taken it to another mechanic first and they wanted to
replace my steering wheel pump, some hoses, and my exhaust.
Anyway, great place and they only fixed the things I already
new were wrong with the car and never tried to take
advantage of me. Very honest shop.

Great to work with, and I trust them with my vehicles. They
can be kinda pricey, but the work is good, reliable, thorough.

Neubauers has done work for us a few times and we've always been very satisfied. They are very honest and do good work. What has motivated me to write them a review, however, is what happened yesterday. When I was driving home from work, around 3 PM, I noticed a new, worrisome sound coming from my 13 year old car. I called the closest mechanic to us since I can walk home from there, and they said they could see it Friday (it was Wed). I was concerned that the car was not safe to drive so at least wanted a quick look at that time. I called Neubauers and they said they couldn't have a mechanic look at it but I could bring it in and he would drive it to let me know if it seemed safe to drive. He did a test drive, checked and topped the fluids, and said the car seemed safe to drive. All at no charge. Neubauers acted like a good neighbor, not just a business, and that is what makes a great business that will earn my business, motivate me to tell others, and make me go out of my way to use them rather than the place up the street.
