The guys at Purple Valley are awesome! They're good people, honest, and know their stuff. I've brought my cars there and have referred dozens of people who are now happy PV customers.

NOT a trustworthy repair shop. I took my vehicle there for a simple rear brake job and their prices seemed fair. When I got the car back it reeked of cigarette smoke (I do not smoke) and there was dirt and grease all over the steering wheel and a stain on the upholstery. It took weeks before the cigarette smell was gone. The brake job was done poorly and brakes started squeaking days after the repair. I took the car back to get the squeak fixed. While I was there, I saw one of the mechanics go on the test drive and light up a cigarette right before they got into someone else’s car. No respect. I was told my rear brakes were fine and that the squeak from coming from the front brakes and they needed to be replaced. I did not want to have this repair shop do anymore work on my car, so I left with my rear brakes still squeaking. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, there was a loud clunking noise coming from the rear every time I went over a bump. I looked under my car to find that both sway bar links were missing. These parts don’t just fall off cars. After calling the shop and asking what they intended to do about it, I was informed they intend to do nothing. Hopefully you are smarter than me and intend to take your business and vehicle elsewhere.

I have been using Dave as my mechanic for a little over a year. My car is old and tends to have issues. Dave has been awesome every time I have gone there. He takes the time to explain things to me, shows me my broken parts, and has found money-saving repairs when appropriate (ex:m weld repair vs new part). He is a respectful, nice guy--as are the other guys working there. I would have rated him higher, but as a new-ish customer, I don't feel I can yet. I do highly recommend Dave. Boo on that first review.
