My 1993 Ford (Mercury Topaz) is still ruuning smoothly and reliably because these two have paid attion to "PREVENTIVE" as well as normal maintenance. In well over a hundred thousand miles with three drivers (my wife drives it "locally" to visit her mother 18 miles away, my daughter drove it as commuter car for three years in college to her internship 30 miles from the school, and I drive it occasionally for a run to the Cape about a bundred miles away) Rick and Ken have maintained and repaired this car in top working order. As an example of "PREVENTIVE" maintenance whenever they rotate the tires they also inspect the brakes and whatever else becomes exposed saving me time, money and annoyances. Recently spotting worn rear brakes, we able to schedule an appointment for a repair. They have also repaired the air conditioner in May before the summer heat (same thing spotted a defective hose). I give these as examples of their competence. They are always oourteous. They also service my 1998 Oldsmobile which is still under warranty.

I have had my Toyota and my daughter's Honda and Toyota serviced at East Main many times. They have always been courteous and friendly. They take the time to listen and explain. In the case of an emergency, they make time to take care of the car. Good guys who take good care of my car.

I have done business with East Main Auto since they opened. I have tried other shops, dealers for particular vehicles, and have found these guys the best. They treat my wife and daughters the same as they treat me which is a pleasant difference. They repair just about anything an four wheels foregn like my Audi and domestic like the Dodge, Ford, Oldsmobile with equal competence. Also, the five guys and one lady are adept at dealing with grumpy people even when their not grumpy.

These guys worked on my older Benz until I traded it in for an american automobile. They specializes in MB vehicles with great savings versus the dealer (obviously). All their staff also works on all makes. A great bunch of guys who work hard to please the customer.

These guys run the best shop I have experienced in my 30 years of driving. They are honest, affordable and reasonably thorough.

I was referred to these guys by a friend that had been using them for years. I wish I had gone to them sooner! They are always honest and give a fair price. On a couple of occasions, I have had an older car in for repairs and they recommended NOT fixing something because it was not a safety issue. I figure I can trust somebody who turns away work as unnecessary. When you stop in, take a look at the addresses on the repair slips on the wall. You'll see people from all over (I drive from Hudson, but I've seen cars from Dudley).

Wayne is the office manager and is most knowledgeable, in my opinion, of diagnosing a problem with an amateur explanation of the car's problem. He is very helpful and pleasant. Kenny is one f the best mechanics around as well as one of the personable. He will take time to explain the problem and what he did to fix it. Their philosophy(from my experience) is to repair what is wrong not just replace a whole system etc. as a car dealer would. In ther words they are REAL mechanics.

We moved to the area a year ago and, after a not-so-good experience elsewhere, asked a longtime resident for a recommendation. She recommended East Main, and said a lot of people in her neighborhood go there and are always happy. We have brought both our Volvo and our Honda there and have been very pleased. They are honest, responsible, and explain things well (and they do treat me and my husband equally). They find a way to fit us in when we really need it. Wayne, the office manager, is a good guy. The work they have done has always been highly satisfactory. I feel lucky to have finally found a trustworthy shop.
