Brian is amazing. One time I was on the road and my car would not start, so I gave him a call and explained the problem. He gave me directions over the phone and I got my car going in no time. Another time my timing belt snaped on the highway on a Saturday. I had the tow truck drop it off at Brian's and left him a note. When I called him on Monday, I asked him if he got my note. First off, he recognized that it was my car, tried to start it and figured it was the timing belt and was in the middle of fixing it since I needed it for work as soon asn possible.

Brian is quite simply the best. 9 VW's and Audis and eight years later I still stand by that. He is an exemplary mechanic and technician. He is extraordinarily honest, affordable, and fast. Often has cars featured in European Car magazine. Brian knows these cars inside and out. Dealer often call him for advice. I have friends who have bought VW's because of him and I know I will not drive anything he won't fix. There are stories from various customers including myself where he has gone far out of his way to help. His speciality is High-performance for VW and Audi cars (he himself races) which means he can do more the most and in half the time. I cannot say enough good things about him and his shop.

I'll probably look like a clown telling this story and its kinda long but anyway, heres my anecdote: I own a 95 VW Jetta that overheated on my way to work one morning. I brought it to this Mienike shop close to work for them to take a look at and they asked me to leave it there overnight. The next day I get a phone call saying that the water pump was broken (which made sense) and then they also suggested that I get the timing belts changed while they are down there. I agreed to that and got some work done worth 450 bucks or so. And when I go to pick my car up, the guy tells me that I had damaged the engine because of that overheating and now my car would need a new engine. I tried to start the car and all I can say is that it made real scary noises. I did not want to spend too much money on an old car so I just towed it back to my office parking and left it there for about 5 months till the security asked me to move it :) I was going to salvage the car but read about Brian on this website so decided to show it to him as for last opinion (after 5 months :D) Got it towed over to Brian's and he got it running within a day. Yeah you read that right, there was no new engine involved, Brian charged me 128 dollars for labour and parts and got me back on the road. I dunno what more to say about how good this guy is (and what a rip off some other people can be i.e. Meineke @ Marlboro, MA) Brian Rocks!

If you happen to get VW or Audi, Bryan is your man!

Brian and his brother Stu are born Volkwagen men. They love their machines and treated ours like they were their own. It was great to find a couple of guys who like what they do and are good at it. They're also a lot of fun to talk with.

The best VW/Audi shop in the greater Boston area. Brian and Stu are talented, honest and reasonable. I'm an auto snob and am very picky who works on my cars. After much research, I trust these guys implicitly. They give you the honest scoop and treat you right. I've recommended them to countless people. You can't go wrong with these guys!

I've used this garage for an Audi A4 1.8T and a VW Passat 30v V6 (both MY2000) Brian's done great work on both. I'm glad there's an honesty rating becase he gets top marks there. And oddly enough, his pricing is excellent. Timing belt+tensioner kit from him on the 1.8T was *HALF* that of Herb Chambers. He knows these cars, and not only is he honest with his billing/repairs, but also is candid about what needs to be done etc.

Brian is one of the best. I have made lots of mistakes prior to finding out Brian's Garage, with other shops (mostly gas stations and dealer) Even though I'm no longer a VW owner when I had them he would be the one that I would have my car towed to. I got AAA plus (with the 100 mile tow option) just because of him. In short terms he is the best. - turkish twister.

The work on our Passat by Brian's Garage has always been excellent - they are honest and expert mechanics. I initially went to them after the dealer claimed we needed $1600 worth of repairs and they did what was actually needed for $600. The car always runs great when they are done and we have always been treated very well.
