My entire family goes to Mike at Z Auto. He can fix
anything and is very honest and is up front about how to
best fix your car at a reasonable price. Charlie, who does
all the body work, does great work too. I've recommended
them to all my friends and will continue to use them until I
have to face the fact that he may one day retire!

Formerly RT 9 Sunnoco in hadley - Mike moved his shop and
renamed it Z Auto
This is a small shop with one mechanic, Mike, the
owner/operator and one guy who does body work, Charlie.
They are both in their late 40's early 50's and know their
way around carboreators and newer cars. I have been a
customer since a friend refered them to me about 1994 and
I will not take my car anywhere else. He is very honest
and has told me many times how long I could wait on a
repair or how much money I should put into an older car.
The only drawback is that it is a small shop and if a
repair is not urgent you may have to schedule it out a
week or so.

Experts with Toyota, Lexus and if they can't fix it, they
will tell you who can as a recommendation. Had a blown head
gasket in a 4runner once, and they couldn't do the job.
Recommended Richard's Auto and they fixed it reasonably.

As others stated, this is a 1 man shop that I have used exclusively for over 20 years. I have referred dozens of people to him, all with great results. Unlike larger shops, the hours are more limited and it may take longer for non-urgent repairs. The other side of that coin (so to speak) is that all the work is done by the owner/operator with many years of experience, excellent diagnostic knowledge and the pride in workmanship that comes from this type of arrangement as opposed to an employee in a large shop that may not have a long term commitment.
