Steve and his fellow mechanics at Abba have often done small repairs for free. They are very good about explaining what the problem was and what they did to solve it. Steve is also good about checking with several places when looking for parts; he has probably saved me several hundred dollars this way over the past couple of years. In an effort to stay up-to-date and competetive with the chain stores, Steve regularly goes to seminars and reads up on the latest trends and technology and has recently installed a new diagnostic computer system in his garage. Always friendly and courteous and often willing to chat about just about anything, Steve has been a pleasure to deal with. I've never had a bad experience at Abba!

Works on lots of different makes of cars although I have only brought my 11 year old Toyota to him. Mechanic who still rebuilds carburaters. Third mechanic to work on a real stumper car problem and kept taking the car back for free until he finally figured it out and fixed the problem. Tha'ts when I switched to him about 8 years ago.

Steve is pretty amazing. He is a kind-hearted, soft-spoken man who really knows his stuff. If there is a way for you to make the repair simply and much more cheaply yourself, he'll tell you what to do. For this reason, among others, I trust him, his judgment, and the bill he gives me at the end of a job. Everyone that I know that goes to him proceeds to recommend him to their friends as well. Yeayy, Steve!

Give these guys your work! They're fair, honest and work quickly.
When our 11 year old Subaru failed inspection at one of the local chain shops,
the guys there gave me a long list of parts that needed replacing to make
sure the exhaust system got a 'Pass.' Basically, they said the entire system
needed replacing, at a cost of $1,100. I took the car to Steve at Abba for a
second opinion. So glad I did. He traced the exhaust leak to the one
connecting pipe. The muffler and catalytic converters (yeah, two of em) were
fine -- no need to replace them. (If you think you're being had by one of the
big chains...) Steve and Abba saved us 900 bucks. Thanks guys.

I've used Abba Motors whenever possible for the last ten
years. Steve is competent, kind and honest, in our humble
opinion. His customers brag to each other about their
experiences at Abba Motors. Today my "Check Engine" light
went on and off a few times, and I showed up at Abba Motors
just as the mechanics were checking out for the day.
Nevertheless, Steve sent one of them out to the parking lot
with a scan tool. The code was coming from the throttle
position senser. There was no charge, and I have a service
appointment set for next week. This experience is
altogether typical.

I've had mixed experiences with this shop--friendly
mechanics overall--but I generally feel rushed when speaking
to Steve.
