We've been going to Teta's for twenty years or so. We used to live within walking distance, but still go back because they solve the problem the first time and are just great people to deal with. When a something happens that needs a quick fix, they always accomodate us. Paul and Dirk are good people and mechanics, in that order.

I have been taking my cars for repairs to them for twenty plus years. I have always owned cars made by the USA Big 3. They have always found the cause of the car problem I brought it in for and fixed it right the first time using good quality parts. Those guys know what they're doing. They show and tell you what they found and fixed, and make you aware of anything else that they notice while working on your car. They charge an honest price for good quality workmanship.

I trust these guys more than I trust my mother. You have to love a mechanic who rides a bicycle eight miles each way to the shop, rain or shine. Paul and his associates are conscientious (they test drive the car before letting me take it), enthusiastic, honest, upbeat and have a good sense of humor. My impression is that Paul runs a tight ship, but is a good boss (seems to have low personnel turnover). Now he's taking care of my kids' cars. They'll call Paul to talk about an automotive problem before they'll ask my opinion (which sucks, since I'm not into automotive mechanics).

I have two sons and my husband has three, and all five have learned to drive and acquired their first cars in the fifteen years that we have been going exclusively to Teta's Automotive. Paul and his sidekick, Dirk, are friendly and honest and do a great job. We figured out the honest part the first time we thought we needed a brake job and they adjusted the brakes and told us we were good for at least 6 months more. That type of thing has happened several times.

I always do my own maintenance, but this was a long technical job, beyond my skill and time. They, off-hand knew all the specs and info about my issue, that took me hours to research. They seem to REALLY know their stuff, especially the more complicated tasks and hard troubleshooting, with great European auto experience.(BMW, SAAB, AUDI, Jag.,VW...) I am very picky and they are now my home mechanic.
