This is an old story.....but, Jimmy solved a problem for $25 (a misbehaving Chapman lock) that had been addressed by both a dealer and another garage for months and for hundreds of dollars. Other experiences for more mundane problems were also very positive!

Found them through this site and was not disappointed: good
service, reasonable prices, honest. Will definitely go back.

I've taken three different vehicles to the Jimmy's Foreign
Auto Center, a Subaru Justy, a Dodge Power Ram and a Subaru
Impreza Outback Sport. I originally went Jimmy's at a
friend's recommendation to deal with an issue with my Justy
that had over 300k miles on it at the time. They suspected
a new carburetor was needed and obtained and installed a
used one. Unfortunately it didn't fix the problem. I was
told upfront that installing the part was a best guess fix
and really the only thing that made sense to try on a car of
that age and mileage. However, since it didn't solve my
problem, I wasn't charged for either the part or labor. I
haven't gone anywhere else since and have been going to
Jimmy's for ten years now. I even continued going to Jimmy
when I traded the Justy for a gigantic, Dodge pickup.

nick & jimmy are a model for what all mechanics should be
like: knowledgeable, fair, honest people.
i have been there many times and never once i got
disappointed. i never felt they did/added something to boost
the bill, and in fact many times they solved the problem and
charged me just change money. they are responsive and solved
my problems relatively fast any time i had a car emergency.
i can't be more happy with them!
