My wife and I have been going to these guys for several years now. They've always been happy to work on anything we've ever brought them (I have a Ford Probe; my wife used to have a very old, running-on-its-last-legs Subaru GL (?); she now has a 1999 Honda CRV), but their first love is Hondas. For that reason, any car we buy in the forseeable future will be a Honda. They do great work, they're always 100% honest (at least as far as I can tell), they frequently do small jobs for free, they look out for our interests (delaying or not doing at all work that would make them money if we don't need it done), and they're really nice guys. I've recommended them to many family members and friends -- they all seem to share my opinion.

Very nice guys. My clutch master cylinder gave out and i had to get the car towed to them. The owner/mechanic was nice enough to stay open a little later to finish my car. It was done in a very timely manner and i was on my way in no time. very knowledgable about hondas and acuras.

Murph is an incredible mechanic who really goes the extra mile. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, I feel so lucky that I stumbled upon mechanics as honest, competent and patient as Murph, Jamie, and the other guys at Hondaz Zone. Murph has done a good job (for a reasonable price) replacing belts and a windowshield on my Subaru, patching and replacing tires etc. When Hondaz Zone wasn't able to fix the rear differential on my Subaru, they referred me to other guys who did a great job. Murph has even gone so far as to lend me his own car!

Murph is an excellent mechanic and a very friendly, cheerful guy. He tells me exactly what is wrong, but in plain English so I can understand. He also lays out the options available to me - never pushes the most expense option - and then fixes it right the first time. Prices are reasonable and the service is great. Highly recommend him!

I took my car to Honda Zone after being given a very high estimate for a new compressor for my air conditioner from another mechanic. I received a call shortly thereafter from Murph saying that the compressor was fine and the A/C just needed a recharge. I even told them when I dropped it off that I knew it needed a new compressor so it would have been really easy to have charged me for it. They were prompt, friendly and most of all HONEST!! I'd recommend them to anyone!

I had a broken door on my '97 Honda Civic--they looked at it the moment I arrived (no wait), and after determining it was a simple problem, the mechanic fixed the issue on the spot for free! I've never had this experience with any other mechanic...normal behavior would have been to take my car for the day and charge me as if an hour of work had been done. After this experience I will be returning here with confidence!

They consistently do the honest thing here; even when I came to them thinking I had a problems that needed extensive work and replacement parts based on the opinion of another mechanic, the manager gave me his honest opinion that this was a minor issue after looking my car over and fixed it on the spot in 20 minutes at no charge. I've never encountered a more honorable mechanic.

First, they are now known as Car Zone, instead of Honda Zone. I'm a new customer, but have quickly become a loyal one. Murph is incredibly friendly, helpful, and transparent with any repairs. On a recent trip in after my check engine light came on, they did the work on my car (a problem with a shift solenoid) within 15 minutes. And since it didn't require any major labor, Murph charged nothing. This is the kind of mechanic I'd been looking for since I moved to the Boston area four years ago.

My CRV was continually dying after turning over, particularly when it was cold outside. I took it to several mechanics who either said nothing was wrong, they couldn't figure it out, or tried something that didn't fix it then charged me an arm and a leg. I took it to Murph on a recommendation from one of the mechanics I had been dealing with. Murph opened up my car three times to figure out the problem, followed my suggestions on what I thought the problem was, and refused to charge me until I had drive the car for two weeks to make sure the fix worked. He thoroughly explained everything that was happening with the car, and was extremely nice and honest. He even had me bring the car back for an additional tune up as part of the original fix he did. Never going to any other mechanic!
