Two of my friends referred me to Tony at Boston Automotive. They have always had great service there. The first time I took my car there the mechanics spent time listening to my strange explanations of sounds and other problems I had with my car. Later that day, Tony called me at work and spent about 20 minutes explaining the intricacies of my car problems in words that I actually understood. He also answered all my questions. And quoted me a reasonable price, breaking down what each thing cost. Amazingly he also explained what repairs were essential and which were costly and not necessary. Today Tony fixed some new oil leaks on my Subaru. These leaks were new, not the same he had fixed last year. He said, and I quote, "It will be no charge. I should have replaced all the parts when you came to me last year, instead of just the ones that were leaking..." He said he should have known that all five whatcha-ma-call-its were going to need replacement... No labor charge and No parts charge. I immediately came to my computer to pass on the word. I hope he doesn't get too busy over there.. By the way the other guys in the shop are also great

Javier is the best mechanic I've ever been to. He's honest, intelligent and incredibly friendly. He takes the time to explain and show you what is wrong with your car and only fixes what needs to be fixed (unlike dealerships that try to milk you for every penny). I have recommended him to all my friends and they have all come back extremely satisfied!!! There is no need to look any further, you have found the best mechanic in Boston!!!

As experts in VW/Audi, Javier and Steve know what to fix when it's broken and the reasons why -- because they're specialists they see lots of these cars and recognize symptoms before they lead to big-time, costly repairs. Most important, they offer honest advice when it won't earn them an extra penny (after-market mods, tires, sales/trades). When my A4 Audi had problems with the door latch and audio speaker trouble, they found service bulletins so the selling dealer had to make repairs under warranty. That says a lot about how they treat customers as people -- not just blank checks

Javier and Steve have been working on my cars for years and are always happy to explain the problems along with what can wait and what needs to be done right away. They are a nice outfit and I always go back to them whenever I am not working on my own car

Javier is an extremely talented and educated mechanic. He's worked on my Audi for years and always has done thorough work. I even brought my parent's BMW to him for some emergency repairs, and he discovered an additional engine computer issue that other mechanics had never figure out. Then, he fixed it, and it hasn't been a problem since. How often can someone really say that they trust their mechanic? With Javier and Boston Automotive, you can!
