Twenty years ago, Michael Kung rebuilt a carburetor for me in an aging Honda and was the only mechanic I could find willing to tackle such a job. (The exercise performed by most mechanics is simply to remove and replace.) I have used him ever since, mostly for Japanese cars. (Although Michael is ethnically Chinese, he can read enough Japanese to dope out Japanese repair instructions.) Michael has also regularly found and repaired problems on our BMW and Audi vehicles that the dealer shops overlooked. Before opening this shop, Michael ran the service operation of a major Toyota dealer. The mechanics at Oriental Import Motor Service are a national treasure: outstanding talent, honest, and hardworking.

THIS GARAGE IS CLOSED!! The owner retired. Do not use the adjacent body shop that expanded into the space and "took over" the business - they are not good at fixing cars. At the body shop, you do not talk with the mechanic but go through a repair salesman who doesn't know what is going on, takes many hours to talk with the mechanic to get simple questions answered, and eventually gets back to you with incomplete answers. I was lazy and thought that these guys would do a good car repair job because they took over the business. I was very wrong! I got a very, very expensive "fix" to a common problem and then I had to go to another garage to get the fix actually done. Ask yourself: "do you really want to have your car fixed at a body shop?" If you value your time and money, do not use the body shop that took over this business - shop around if you want the great service offered by Oriental Import Auto Service.
