Great service, great price. Chuck will find used parts when appropriate. A legend in Boston among Saab owners.

I've been very happy with their service and timeliness.

We love Chuckie. Due to our tempermental Saab,we see him often - he is always reliable and reasonable. And extremely trustworthy. He also goes the extra mile for his customers -- the day before our wedding, he came out to a nearby gas station to rescue us when we accidentally locked the keys in our Saab. Allston is not a dangerous neighborhood, we use to live there. P.S. Chuckie also looks like Kevin Sorbo from the Hercules TV show.

Mecca's worked on my '90 Saab 9000 many times. They've done everything from the mundane (replacing broken fog light covers) to the big stuff (replaced head gasket), and I have nothing but praise. The staff is accessible and friendly, and the work is done quickly and done well. I never have a reason to doubt their diagnosis or estimates. I've never had reason to recommend a mechanic (most of them are horrible, in my opinion) before heading to Mecca. I'll recommend them to any and every Saab owner in greater Boston. -Ken, Brookline

If you have a Saab -- this is THE place. They are happy to help you keep an old car going without being snobs, and without selling you stuff you don't need. Plus, if it's possible to use used or rebuilt stuff they will. I trust them on safety issues -- always a concern with old cars. And, Chuck has also advised me when it's finally time (cheaper) to get a newer used car. If you make an appt in advance you can get a loaner for fee -- what could be better. They have also helped me with a repair in a timely manner, when I had to have my car towed to them after closing. I finally convinced a friend with a newer Saab to stop getting ripped off at the dealer and go to Mecca and she's happier. If buying a used Saab -- they will check it out thoroughly. It will cost about $85., but you'll know everything about that car before you buy it.

Mecca Motors has been servicing 4 different Saabs between my father and I since the early 90?s. Each service over the years has been appropriate and flawlessly executed. Things get done fast, economically and you don't have to worry about any BS.

Found out about Mecca Motors through this site. They did a "save or get rid of" evaluation of the car. They have done two follow-on repairs. Work has been great. Prices were as originally advertised. Very pleased. Recommend to others who have older SAABs (mine is a 1994)

I own both a '99 9-3 Convertible and a '99 9-5 Sedan. Chuck and his guys have done all of the work on my cars for the last two years and saved me a BOATLOAD of money compared to the local dealers. Additionally, they are courteous and thorough, and perform the work they promise in a professional and timely manner. I'd love to see them open on the weekends, but they've always helped facilitate early/late drop-offs whenever they could tio help work around busy schedules. My cars are in great shape thanks to Chuck, and I intend to have Mecca as my sole provider for Saab service for as long as I own them both!
