I needed a CV joint replaced - they did it for a lot less than I thought it would cost and rotated my tires for free. To be honest its the only place I've ever gone to for a major repair where I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off somehow.

They diagnosed 2 problems on my Jeep that were beyond my shade tree mechanic abilities - catalytic converter and harmonic balancer. Both times the price was reasonable and the service was fast - same day. In fact, I was so impressed I've already been recommending them to my friends.

Blaze does a great job, explains everything in detail, and gives you options. He always calls you himself to review what they've found under the hood. He also keeps an organized shop - at the end of the day all the cars, tools, etc. are put away neatly. My father would say that is a good indicator of how he leaves your engine.

Have used Ragusa's Automotive since shortly after they opened. They have worked on all our cars & trucks. Since moving well out of the area we continue to go back to them for all service.

Blaze runs a great shop. We were with him years ago when he had two bays - and now he has an expanded, successful shop. We are moving back to Louisiana, to Lafayette, and we will drive the hour to Blaze's in Baton Rouge until we can find a local mechanic who we can equally trust.

They were courteous and diagonosed and fixed the problem (cooling system leak) as promised. It's been 3 years now, but stil a good experience.

Never been to Ragusa's before, but I took my truck there based on the good reviews from this website, which mostly lead me to believe they're good honest mechanics, but pricey (you get what you pay for). My personal experience couldn't have been any better - I dropped the vehicle off Monday morning, and they had an answer for me that afternoon. Since it was something I could fix myself (I'm a shadetree mechanic), I picked it up after work, expecting to pay at least something for their time. They turned the keys over to me free of charge! I would highly recommend these guys.

This shop is by far the nicest and most competent every. Everything was explained clearly and the price was what I was quoted. Everyone who walked into this establishment was treated like a long lost best friend. I only wish this shop was in the state I live in.
