Driving a '99 Chevy Malibu, I seemed to go through brake
pads like they were water. I allowed the dealership as
well as one of the national chains before to overcharge me
and replace the pads and roters. Not only did Covey's
perferom fast, reliable work, it was EXTREMELY
affordable. After telling him how I felt like I had been
ripped off at other places, they showed me exactly how
much of a mark up I would be facing compared to their
costs (he walked right across the street to get the pads
and roters from his supplier). They are always quick to
give me estimates and in my particular cases- have been
right on the mark when I get the bill. Even before they
begin work, they take the car out for a test drive and get
under the hood to diagnose the situation before even
beginning a repair and start charging me. One mechanic
told me my steering was shot and the whole thing had to be
replaced (he just listened to it). Covey's got in and
drove it, got under and looked at it and saved me almost
$600.00 and proved that it was just a wheel baring that
was in desperate need of replacing. I recommend Covey's
to all of my co-workers and friends.

Tommy Covey the shop owner and head mechanic has always
treated me right. He will exhaust his resources to find
the best price on parts and will only use quality parts.
I have had my Nissan 240sx in his shop for various
maintenance and repairs over the past 10 years and he has
always fixed the problem the first try. He will always
give you his honest advice and if he thinks you need a new
car he will tell you. I recommend all of my friends and
family to him.

Covey priced under every other quote I recieved. Was able
to diagnose the problem without any suggestion from myself
and was the same as the other diagnoseses. Also was done
before the time quoted. Would definitely take my car back
there.

My car had bad catalytic converters which is to be expected of a mazda but when they gutted two of them, some pieces fell into the muffler Which blocked my exhaust cause poor performance. I took it back to them and they wanted to charge me $560 to clean out my muffler for their mistake. I said that this was their mistake that they needed to fix on their own tab and so they refused to repair the damage they caused. I will never go back to this mechanic and I warn anyone else considering them. In my opinion, Coveys will run up the bill as much as they can and leave issued in disrepair so that you will have to come back.
