The folks at Perfect Auto have worked on our cars (a Honda
and two Toyotas) for the past fifteen years. I became a
customer for life when I took a Honda problem to Steve
that he couldn't figure out; he kept the car overnight,
spent hours working on it, figured out and fixed the
problem, and THEN DIDN'T CHARGE ME ANYTHING! Why? Because,
he said he had learned something! WIth its family of cats,
and dorm room furnishings, Perfect Auto is a one-in-the
million repair shop, with honest, highly competent
mechanics who care for their customers -- most of whom are
customers for life.

The best. If you have a Honda, Toyota, Subaru, or Lexus
give them a shot. If you have another brand you might give
them a try any way, since I have seen a domestic car in
their garage more than once.
Steve ,Steve, and Phil are the best.

These guys continue to be Central Kentucky's best kept
secret. I'm pretty sure they don't do any advertising
whatsoever, and they continue to get plenty of business on
the word of mouth they inevitably get from their highly
satisfied customers, such as myself. I just finished my
second visit, and I'll definitely be back as long as I live
in or near Lexington. May not be the cheapest around, but
the price is very fair for such quality work (definitely
cheaper than the dealer), and they're willing to back up
their work 100%. They're doing what they love, and they
really know their stuff. Steve will talk your ear off about
cars even if it's your first time in. If you've never been
there, this is the sort of place you think you can't find
anymore.

Awesome. They even helped me find a new car because, thanks
to them, my Accord has 300,000 miles on it. They kept
telling me to get a new one for the last year.

They treated my 2002 WRX with all the tender loving care I had hoped for. Other
customers seemed very happy as well.

Wow! What a lucky find. Steve and his son, Andrew, run a shop
that's both honest and professional. Not only do they do
fine work, but they'll suggest ways to keep your cost down
by recommending aftermarket parts (unless OEM would be a
smarter move) or sometimes even fix a part, instead of
replacing it. My ONLY reservation about posting this
positive review is that Perfect Auto will become so popular
in Lexington that I'll have to start making an appointment
in order for them to work on my car!
