I have been dealing with the Rotary Connection for at least ten years and have the highest regard for their work. They have an excellent reputation in the city. I know a fair amount about car mechanics (for a female scientist) and several times I have taken my truck (1987 Mazda B2000 that I've had since it was a newborn) to them knowing what was wrong and prepared for a large bill, only to have them tell me it wasn't as serious as I thought, or find a way to repair it inexpensively. For example, they have pulled and checked my driveshaft 3 times now checking for wear and each time told me I had many more miles on it yet. Because I can hear the U-joints clunking, they could easily have replaced the whole thing the first time and I would not have questioned it. I have never felt cheated in any way, nor have I ever had any problem with the work they have done. Chip always explains the work thoroughly, patiently and professionally. As a female I have never felt patronized or in any way taken advantage of. Please excuse the bad grammer, etc. I am writing this from my office and it is past time to go home.

The mechanic, Billy, is my favorite. They work on my 1953 MG TD "Isadora".

The Rotary Connection is now called Japanese Autoworks. They work only on foreign cars and I have been very pleased with their work on my cars over the years. They are not inexpensive, but they are thorough and will recommend work that needs to be done NOW, can wait or is optional. They explain what's wrong and always call to authorize repairs. They only work on foreign cars and not Volkswagens but I would buy a foreign car knowing that they would work on it. I trust them and they have never disappointed me.
