We've taken our vehicles to Kip for over 10 years. He's worked on a Honda Accord until it wasn't worth fixing any more, a Chevy Celebrity wagon and Plymouth Voyager until we sold them. We now have a Buick Century and a Chevy Cobalt. Plus, two of our kids have cars: a Pontiac Grand Am and Hyundai Elantra. He's worked on all of them, and we have complete confidence in the work from this shop. If it's not done right the first time, they do it again until it is at no additional charge. They've given us opinions about what work needs to be done--NOW, later and what's going to need to be done. Friendly, trustworthy and completes the work when they say they will.

I really don't know if they've done a good job. Car seems to be working okay.

Lousy customer service. Poor communication. They took three days longer and charged nearly $400 more than they originally quoted to replace my clutch. I dropped my car off on a Monday. Kipp quoted me $900 for a clutch and told me it would be done by end of day Tuesday. Tuesday he told me maybe Wednesday. Wednesday he told me probably Friday due to ordering a fly wheel, which they initially said only needed refurbished. At no point did he mention that he'd be charging me nearly $400 more until it came to pay. Absolutely unreasonable considering the part was only $266 and no extra labor was needed as it's all a part of the same system. For all the honorable work Kipp boasted about doing for Operation Breakthrough he sure was extremely unsympathetic to my situation as a low-income single mom who's working her way through college. Will NOT do business there again. I can not recommend this shop when there are so many other honorable, hard working mechanics who don't swindle hundreds of dollars out of single mother's pockets. Very disappointing since the reason I took my car there was due to positive reviews. I have no problem paying for the extra part needed but the approximate overcharge for labor was $177.21, which is a lot of money on my budget.
