To say that they are good would be a huge understatement.
Although the owner's main specialty is Japanese cars (Honda
in particular), they do great work on all makes and models.
If I absolutely had to give a downside here, I would say
that lack of Saturday hours would be the only one. Because
they accommodate the customer and your transportation needs,
this is really a moot point.
So far, in two different cars, they have replaced a starter,
performed a major brake rebuild (the car desperately needed
it!), reset an airbag light--after properly
diagnosing/fixing the problem, repaired an electrical short,
installed an after market cruise control--the only option my
car had for adding this feature, performed countless oil
changes, etc. I'm sure that there are other fixes, too, but
I can't remember what they might be.

I answered 'don't know' to the question about whether or not
Mark's Service 'responds well when they screw up' because I
personally haven't had anything 'screwed up' after service
at Mark's. I do own Honda vehicles, so I cannot give a
response about their performance on other makes of cars, but
since a Honda is practically a domestic car these days, I
would guess that Mark's service is pretty good across the
board. Additionally, the owner, Mark, is usually always
there and available during business hours if you have
questions! Good luck!

I had my 2002 Honda Civic's timing belt and water pump
replaced at Mark's. I called many places, and they gave me
the best quote. In fact, they overquoted me which made me
very happy when I came to pick the car up. They were quick,
and I felt like they did a good honest job. Being a Ball
State Student at the time, it was in a great spot just
between my house and campus. After having my car worked on
at places like Midas, this place was cheaper, nicer, and I
just felt better about going to them. I strongly recommend
Mark's.

We have had almost $2000 worth of work done there on our
Durango. The last time we had a blower motor installed
that fell off. They gave us false information based on
what other mechanics have told us they want us to pay to
have it replaced even though it's under warranty. Not to
mention the price is over $100 more for less work and parts
(we also had the heater core replaced with the blower
motor). Until this incident we had no problems with them,
and they were our mechanic of choice. But since this, we
will no longer take our vehicles there, and most of my
friends/family have decided not to also based on the lies
they told us.

They replaced my battery and changed my oil and filter. Only took them 45 minutes. Will be back for my next service.
