Don is the most honest repair person I know. He even tells you when things don't need repairing or when to anticipate a future repair.

I am a single female and do not feel that I have ever been taken advantage of and they always explain fully and offer more than one option for repair when practical. They also have a nice shuttle van that took me and my two children where I needed to go. The staff is always clean and friendly!

Don's Service Center has been fixing my vehicles for years, and have always done an excellent job and complied with my requests. I drive my vehicles until they are dead, dead, dead; therefore I often don't want to pay for expensive repairs unless it is to keep the vehicle moving or for safety reasons. Don knows this and treats the repairs accordingly. I took a company truck in a couple of years ago because I thought it was running a bit rough, (it had 180,000 miles on it.) Don ran it through all of the diagnostics and couldn't find anything wrong. There was no charge, and it was an expense account job.

Don is an oasis in a sea of incompetence. He knows his stuff and has knowledgeable mechanics. The same mechanic always works on the car so that he is familiar with its history. This saves time and money. Honesty is always foremost. There is no lying and no funny business with one's bill. He tells you what he has done and why he has done it. He alerts you to upcoming service of future problems so that you can plan for them. My only wish is that he could be a certified warranty center. His shop is that good!

I started using Don's Service Center on the recommendation of a colleague that worked at near-by Indiana State University. Don's had a shuttle that I could use to get to work; they would also pick me up at the time I specified. I was very impressed with how clean everything was in their shop and how professionally and courteously I was treated. Since I am a woman, I have on occasion felt like my questions weren't treated with respect. That has never been the case at Don's. They have two buildings--one for oil changes and other fluid-type issues, and a shop for more extensive repair work. They also sell and service Victory motorcycles, so it is entertaining to see their stock in that area (not MY walk on the wild side but I love all that chrome!).
