Brian Wilkinson fixed a fuel pump problem I have had on my Taurus wagon for several years. The pump wouldn't always start to work in cold weather. A Ford Dealer mechanics charged me $700+ dollars for a new pump several years ago to no avail! Brian suggested installing a new relay switch for 20 bucks. That fixed the problem. Brian also fixed a "Chirping Sound" this car had for a year. Several other mechanics told me it definitely involved the serpentine belt and pulleys. Not so! Brian correctly identified the location of the noise and after replacing the Camshaft Synchonizer the chirping like a bird is gone. Good quick work and very pleasant conversationalist, willing to share information about the vehicle and the repair. Adept at computer record keeping, parts description, billing and receipt. Clean, warm shop off the beaten path.

My 1985 Ford F150 is the second vehicle Brian has serviced. This pickup has either 49,000 or 149,000 miles on it. It needed some serious repair to the braking, steering and exhaust systems. I had neglected way too many important (think safety) issues for way too long. Brian put the ol' gal up on the hoist (I'm talking about the truck!), made a thorough inspection then created a prioritized list and estimated costs. I returned to The Shop for the inspection report. I was provided complete - no pressure - description of the ol' gal's ills and could see for myself the issues in need of repair! When Brian called to say she was ready to go, the final cost was below estimate because he found some of the anticipated and estimated repair were not needed - so he didn't add that unnecessary cost at this time. He also gave suggestions and cautions for future repairs of which I should heed. I might add the correct address for Brian Wilkinson's "The Shop" is actually 13631 N 750 E, Syracuse, IN 46567.
