Tim's a great guy. When my Army husband was sent overseas to serve in Iraq for a year; he took care of my car problems very reasonably and even a few minor things for free.

Tim is an honest, down to earth guy who really goes out of his way to help. He stands behind his work and often does more than required. He is a long time mechanic who went from working for a large shop to owning his own place. I enthusiastically recommend him. I should point out that Tim is an honest and straightforward person who expects the same from his customers. If you can't trust people he is probably not a good choice for you.

Tim is a lifesaver. He does excellent work for a fair price. A great place to bring your car.

We are new in town, had a loud thumping sound coming from the engine area of our 2006 Toyota Camry. We took the car to another shop, they said without a doubt we needed a new engine. The car has over 100,000 miles, but we thought we deserved another opinion, so we brought it to Tim's Auto Repair, as Car Talk listeners recommended it, and it was close by. Tim said it definitely wasn't the engine, possibly a water pump or alternator going bad. Now, we didn't know what to think, but Tim had the car overnight, diagnosed it as the water pump. We happily picked up the car the next day and paid less than $300.00 for everything. The car purrs like a kitten now. We definitely saved a bundle of money, but most of all, we now know where to take our car for repairs.

Tim is a great guy and a very good mechanic. He is reasonably priced and won't try to sell you repairs you don't need. He fixes the problem and will advise you if something is in need of repair but doesn't recommend unnecessary work. He is very good at diagnosing the problem and giving accurate repair estimates. I have used Tim for over 10 years and I highly recommend Tim as an honest, fair, and qualified mechanic.
