Ron was recommended to me a few years ago by a friend. Since then, I've come to rely on Ron's for all my car repairs. This is quite an accolade, since Ron's shop is not conveniently located near my home. Ron's may not look like your neighborhood BMW Service Center and Custom Clothiers (in fact, I imagined I heard the theme from Deliverance the first time I went there) but he's really got it where it counts: he's an excellent mechanic.

My family has been taking their cars to Ron for years. He can be very practical and give you his opinion regarding the cost of the repairs (and future repairs) versus what you can expect from the car. He can also be very sophisticated in talking about performance improvements on a car built for racing. He knows engines! I've dropped cars off after hours and picked them up the next day. I've even picked one up at 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning. If he can't find a problem, he usually won't charge anything and he won't make up something to fix. When something is beyond his expertise, he gives referrals. I trust Ron and highly recommend him.
