After visiting several other mechanics in Bloomington, we feel lucky to have found Mike at Flextune. We've been going to him for close to three years now, and we're on a first-name basis. He's always been fair and honest with us. He takes our financial constraints into account when suggesting repairs for our aging car. He's always been good to explain as much as needed what the problems so we have a basis for making decisions. We've had some emergencies arise on Saturdays, and his shop has been open and he was willing to look at the car. He really goes the extra mile.

I went to them without an appointment for an oil change and they found time in their busy schedule to squeeze me in and for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately they are on the other side of town and have no public transport near them as far as I know so I probably will need to look somewhere closer. They provided an itemized bill and are ASE certified.

We've been using Flextune for major repairs since before they moved to their new location (no longer on Rogers) and changed their name from Bloomington Discount Car Repair. They've worked on multiple cars and fixed things that no one else could. When another shop said we needed struts and rack & pinion gearbox, they said the struts were fine and saved us $500. We still go there even though we've moved to a different city and now have to drive 40 minutes for a repair. They work Saturdays and will stay late if they have to to get your work done.
