What was amazing about this body shop is the following: I "scratched" the body of my car pulling out of the garage. I took it to two body shops for estimates. One estimate was $750. The second was $1200. A friend recommended this body shop, saying it was honest. I pulled in, and Dean Fields, came out to look at the car. He said just a minute. He returned with some special cleaner and a rag. Within 5 minutes he had used the "magic" cleaner to remove the mess that I had made. Here's the next best part -- he would not take any money! Apparently, it was just smudged dirt and not rusted paint as I had thought. Bravo to Wilmette Auto Body!

We found Wilmette Auto Body quite by "accident"; our teenaged daughter misjudged a left turn and was towed there by our insurance. We did not live nearby but had them do the repairs rather than tow the car 15 miles. A few years later we moved to Wilmette and I took my older Camry to them to get a few rusty areas cleaned up so that this same daughter could take this car to college. Dean came out with a rag and some "miracle" lotion and rubbed away a good deal of the offending areas and would not accept any money. We have had some accidents or body issues with other cars over the years and Wilmette Auto Body has been the only shop we have used. Our insurance has also designated them as a preferred shop.

Our family has used WAB on several occasions to restore our cars following mishaps (string of Au Pairs, bad for insurance!). Dean always treats us fairly and delivers as promised.

I have a collection of old cars, american from the 30's and european from the 50's and 60's (the Rolls is a '65), whatever I show up in Baykar always figures out a way to fix it, and fix it well. Recommended very highly

Being an automotive idiot myself, I have come to rely heavily on Baykar and his team and will endorse them to anyone. Baykar is always responsive, focused on what it important, and sensitive to each customer's needs and preferences. I trust his advice implicitly and have taken to buying used cars, though never before having him evaluate the car and advise me on it (which he has always done without charge).

We've brought our Toyota Camry and Saab 900SE to Wilmette Auto Care for several years. Baykar brings a broad experience, honesty and a friendly manner to every customer and car he services. Wilmette Auto Care is a place we trust completely.

Took our family's cars (a Saab, a Honda, and a Nissan) there and he did an excellent job on each of them. Bykar is extremely honest, helpful, competent, and very, very nice. Can't say enough nice things about him. Strongly recommended.

Bykar has worked on our old Explorer, our newer Tahoe and newer Audi A4 for the past three years. He is great about letting you know about upcoming maintenance, so you aren't surprised. And he has pointed out work that GM warrantied after the warranty period ended and sent me to the dealer to have the work done for free. Also, The location next to the train is fabulous.
