Steve has so much business that they dont list their phone number, so I have never had something that just did not need repairing get repaired. Steve will also tell you that you need to start thinking about geting something done that is on the edge of needing repair and how long you have. They have also invested in good technology so even irksome problems he takes care of in short order.

I am writing this on behalf of my mother - who lives in
Springfield. I have moved away from Springfield and Steve
is the kind of mechanic you dream of finding in any city.
My mother is 68 years old, has a very limited income, and
has been a customer of Steve's for about 17 years. Steve
has, since my father's death, at times fixed her car for
free even though she has insisted, repetively to pay him.
He is a rare soul whose honesty and integrity is impeccable
and incredible. May there be more mechanics like
Steve!!!!

I have a fleet of old cars (I have all these young daughters, so...) and they've been keeping them all running for years without laughing at me, which I appreciate. They've fixed straightforward problems on German cars, subtle issues on Japanese cars, and warned me of what I need to watch on all of them. They don't get it done in two hours because they're in high demand, but if I want to be sure of the result, I go to Steve and the guys at Vern's. I only tell close friends about them because I don't want to make the line for their services any longer.
