They are friendly and easy to work with, they explain the problem and the process needed to repair it. I wasn't able to get my vehicle untill after closing time, they said no problem- pick it, will leave bill in car, and mail us a check for service.

This shop is fantastic. I had a cryptic "check engine" light come on, and they ran through an incredibly thorough diagnostic workup, told me everything was fine, and charged me nothing. I was lucky enough not to need any work done, but I hear that if you do, Midstate has fair prices and does a great job. Jerry, the proprietor, is incredibly generous with his knowledge and advice, and won't sell you something you don't need. Five stars.

I wish all my car troubles were transmission ones. I have the utmost trust in and respect for Jerry and his crew. Their competence and honesty are consistently evidenced in their work. I highly recommend them.

They are very personable and professional. They changed my transmission fluid and filter for about half what a quick oil change place wanted. Highly recommended!

Midstate did a rebuild on our transmission a couple of years ago. They warrantied the work and it has held up well. A few months back we noticed that it was running rough in lower gears. We suspected the transmission and took it in. Midstate assured us it wasn't the tranny and didn't charge us to take a look at it. Turned out they were right - it was the engine, not the transmission.
