We bought this car used. We didn't know how to find a good
Saab mechanic. We found a listing for these people here on
your site. Turns out the guy remembered our car from the
previous owner (was not a private sale but through a
dealership). The mechanic had kept all the records of all
repairs he had ever done on the car. Seems very thorough
and conscientious. They're always upfront with how much
stuff is gonna cost.

They were able to acquire re-tooled rims instead of using brand new ones, so I saved a lot of money.

I bought my 900S back in 1986. Peterson worked on it in
1988 when I was moving to California. They changed hands
since then, but Borhan and Chuck still hold the idea of
excellent work at reasonable pricing paramount. I put
over 350K on that car. When it was time to stop repairing
it, the guys said, "it time to move on, no more repairs."
I asked them for a recommendation for a used car. The
1994 9000 had only 33K on it when I bought it in 2002.
Now it has 93K on it and with a few minor repairs after I
broke it in again, the vehicle is superb. This shop is
amazing. Flexible; pick you up at the train, leave the
car when ready for after hours pick up, come up with
creative ideas to prevent recurring design problems, just
wonderful. Honest, intelligent, and fair. What more do
you need to know!!!

These guys are really customer friendly.. The last time I
used them, my car had stalled out and had to be towed. The
incident happened at 10pm. I had the tow truck guy tow it to
their shop (without informing them first) and they called me
the next day about getting the vehicle running. They seem
very honest about what work needs to be done, and have a
fair pricing model. If they serviced my Lexus, I would take
it there in a heartbeat.

Borhan was the only Saab mechanic that could fix a window
problem I had on my new 900SE Saab 11 years ago. He has
been taking care of it ever since. He is one of the most
upstanding, honest people I have ever met. I have only
kept my Saab because of him. They are very fair and
honest at Peterson. I have sent family members to them
with cars other than Saab and Volvo and they too have
received great service and pricing! They are the best.

I can't express enough how good these guys are! Borhan
and Chuck are honest, competant, mechanics and good people
to deal with. After being snookered by another Saab
specialist in the Chicagoland area, I was so happy to find
Petersen. I would recommend them to any Saab owner,
especially those with classic (pre-GM) models!

This is the only place I'll take my Saab. Their location
is a bit incovenient for me, but I trust them and they've
done good work at a reasonable price for me over the years.

Chuck and Borhan have been working on my Dad's Volvo ever since the
warranty expired. He's not one to luxuriate praise nor extend trust, but he's
talked us into bringing our Toyotas to them and I just might be back to buying
Volvos with these guys in the area.
