My van has over 200,000 miles on it. Russ keeps me on the road. He's fixed just about everything on my van, including putting in a new engine. He admits when he's wrong and listens to me. I appreciate that because I'm a lady and we don't always get listened to by our mechanic.

Northtown charges a lot for repairs, but they know what they are talking about. I would not come here to just have my oil changed because it's about a 45min-1hr wait to have it done.

Found through a referral, clean shop, very professional. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

After I had moved to McHenry in 2001 I was refered to Northtown Auto by a co-worker who lives in a neighboring town. I was greeted by very friendly employes and a very clean comfortable waiting area. In a very short time I was greeted each time by name. One time I was driven home due to a day long repair to my Toyota. I know that if that need were to occur again they would offer the ride. In 2003 I asked if they knew of an old dependable truck I could buy. They directed me to a customer of their's. They had all the service records on their computer. It has been a very good vehicle. In 2007 I mentioned to the staff I wanted to sell my Toyota. They, in turn, refered another customer to me and the sale was made. These people had as much trust in them as I do. 100% satisfied.
