Tom is what I would call a good ole country boy that is professional in his business. I would trust his judgement on anything automotive related.

Tom Finch Automotive is a fairly small owner-operated shop
where you can take your car or truck (or just about
anything else) and have it repaired by someone who actually
cares to take the time to do things right and even go above
and beyond what is expected. Tom's prices are fair - the
lowest around for a certified mechanic. They treat their
regular customers like they're part of the family, and
never do any repairs without letting you know how much it
will cost. They are a bit out in the country, but they do
provide loaner cars at no cost for their customers who need
one. They also do collision repair, have their own tow
truck, and make getting your car fixed as painless as
possible! I wouldn't take my car anywhere else!

Fast and honest; this is the place to go in the Jacksonville, Illinois area. I had been thinking about getting another car, and was afraid the repairs I needed would be more than the car was even worth. My 15 year old car now runs like new! It looks like I'm good for another 5 years with my new favorite mechanic.
