I love them! They have been around since the beginning of time. Family run, owned and operated.

I took my car in to get my trigger for my windshield wiper fixed & they made it WORSE. When I took it back because THEY didn't fix it right, they still expected me to pay! We're having an issue with them right now. They've had my grandfather's car for 5 days now & have yet to give us an update on even the diagnosis. They told my grandfather that they were using his car to get & get parts....UM, since when is it acceptable to use a CUSTOMER'S car to run your errands? My sister (a certified Honda mechanic) asked them if they thought that was appropriate, to which the man she spoke to responded, "Yeah, I do." He then demeaned my sister & questioned her as a mechanic in a condescending & immature way. It doesn't matter what she is, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE FIXING A CAR!!!!!! These people are flat out moronic. They've let my grandpa's car sit in their lot & rot for 5 days, except when they need to run errands. STAY FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR AWAY!!!!! I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau....they are horrible people! Seriously, they take advantage of any poor sucker who seeks their "services". Not only are they a total rip-off & will milk you for every penny you have, but they are hardly qualified to be mechanics. I don't even think these people know how to turn a computer, let alone fix a car.

I thought I would be an exception of bad reviews from "old timers" and recent customers...I was wrong! Why do we keep patronizing a imcompetent business who is untimely in their work, discourteous in communication and $$$ markedly 3 times higher in their rates than 2 other very local mechanic shops. Allegedly the owner used a political position years ago to try and keep any competition out of the area...if this business was fairly competitive in their rates...honorable....and timely...these tactics would not have been needed. Business owners...why do you keep your fleet contract with Bell Side 7? You are paying thousands and thousands of unnecessary dollars that could be used to reinvest in your business or put in your employee and your own pockets. I am truly appalled that Bell Side 7 still thrives in Homer Glen. I have used a very local mechanic blocks away from Bell Side 7, sent numerous customers and can stand behind my facts. Spread the not patronize Bell Side the other local mechanics that are honest, fair, timely and realistic in their costs!
