He's lent very insightful advice to several car purchases and has been proven correct every time. There has never been a single interaction with him or his shop that has made me question his expertise or professionalism.

In addition to being a solid & reliable mechanic, Steve's a really great guy and always happy to talk through your repairs in as much detail as you like. He makes honest recommendations regarding maintenance as well as used car purchases; and even continues to do good work if you happen to ignore his advice. His prices are extremely reasonable with quick turnaround. He even works on pesky European models.

I was so disappointed with my experience at Steve's shop. He came highly recommended by so many people both online and family members. I had a very difficult problem with my Honda Civic. I was driving out from Pennsylvania and it began seizing up on me, and wouldn't let me drive over 30-40mph on the highway. I gave Steve all the info. about my car and he kept testing my car trying to get it to seize up but it never did. He had my car for several days and never gave me a solid answer on what went wrong with my car. He had a guess - after spending many hours on my car, cleaning off the engine, and testing it he thought it was severe low oil. It cost me $400 in man hours to have Steve add oil. I'm sorry but I have never felt more swindled then I did with Steve. I honestly feel that if he had gone with his guess/gut, he could have saved himself alot of man hours and me alot of money. My car was a bit shaky for a couple weeks and is running good now.
