Mike is well-known by word of mouth among Miata enthusiasts in the area. He trained as a factory mechanic but now operates out of a garage behind his apartment just south of Devon in West Rogers Park. He has always done exactly what I asked, and though not especially cheap, he does it right the first time. He also calls up a week or so after he works on the car to check to see if you are satisfied. I always have been. I've had him do the 30,000 mile service, advance the timing for better low end torque, and install aftermarket shocks and sway bars.

Mike runs the show all by himself, meaning He repairs the car, and deals directly with you. He specializes in all foreign cars, but works mainly on Japanese vehicles. He also is quite an expert on modifying certain vehicles for better performance. He is by Redline and Metra stops, which is also conveinient. Oh.. He has the nicest Labs I have ever met!

Mike has been repairing my vehicles for the last 10 years, and I have been really stisfied with him. The first car I brought to him was a Mazda RX-7, which was one of Mikes specialties. Mike has done extensive work with the Rotary engine, which is only used by Mazda. He now services my Lexus IS300 and I have had the same great experience each time I visit him! Thanks, Mike!!

I had my Miata serviced by Mike for a few years, and the same car was serviced by the woman I sold it to. She had the same positive experience that I did.

I originally had brought my Mazda to Mike years ago, and when I found out he also services Domestic and all foreign vehicles, I brought my Lexus to him, and a Chevy.. I feel comfortable with Mike because he runs the shop by himself, and does all work himself. He explains what was done so I leave feeling like I know what I spent my money on!

I brought my Saturn to Mike a few times, and each time he has repaired it the proper way the first time, AND explained everything he did on the car. Being a woman, I know I am vulnerable in this field. Mike Makes me feel special each time I go to him!

I was referred to Mike a few years back, and I really like the fact that he repairs the cars himself. I feel like I really know what is being done to my car with Mike

Mike used to service my mazda Miata, but I moved up to a BMW M3. I know Mike used to work for a terrific independent BMW shop in the burbs before he began working for himself, so I asked him if He would work on my new car. Ever since he has been servicing it, I have had no problems, and no complaints! Thanks, Mike!

I was taking my Saab 9 3 to the dealer for the past couple of years when I was referred to Mike. Aside from the fact that his prices are much more reasonable than the dealers, he is meticulous in his work and even returned my car cleaned inside and out! I was really impressed with his attention to detail and would highly recommend him!
