Mark Wagner is polite, courteous and honest. He regularly advises customers what work is needed as well as what work is NOT needed. He is easy to work with and is very willing to explain and educate.

Mark is a great mechanic as well as an honest person. I know that the work will be done right the first time, every time. I also trust that he will not rip me off, and always gives a very thorough explanation of each repair, no matter how small.

Mark Wagner is an honest, hard-working mechanic. I learned of him 14 years ago from colleagues at work and he has done the repairs and preventive maintenance on my cars ever since. He advises his customers well: - what needs to be fixed -now- - how much life is left in various components - what may not be worth fixing I have great confidence in Mr. Wagner. He runs his business to build long-term customers. He keeps the faulty parts to educate his customers what went wrong and why it needed to be fixed. By the way, his shop is now in Batavia, IL - next to Fermi Lab.

My parents have been taking their cars to Mark @ Wagner auto for years. I've taken my car to Mark for as long as I've driven cars. Their fees are very reasonable. Beyond that factor, I very much appreciate how honest he is. Even if something could be fixed he helps me assess if the repair is needed. Our family highly recommends Wagner auto to everyone we know.

Mark Wagner is a very honest working man. He understands how sometimes life just gets in the way and tries to help out anyway that he can to make your time at his shop as convenient as possible. Now that they have moved to Batavia they have a loaner car. Which has come in handy and he newest thing is that they are open on saturdays till noon, by appt only. This is best shop I have been to. The way Mark Wagner is with his costumers, he shows that he really cares and is interested in helping you. I highly recommend this shop.

It was my girlfriend who recommended me to Mr. Mark Wagner and I must say that my experience at his shop was the best and I have been going to him for 4 years now. Mark is the only mechanic that I know that will take the time to explain what is wrong with your vehicle and help a person out as best as he can. Mark Wagner now has a loaner car which has come in handy for me when I have errands to do. They will also pick anyone up with in 15 miles. His wife Teresa told me that they have customers who have never been in the shop! That I thought was amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend Wagner's Auto Service.

When I called Wagner Auto - I was very apprehensive as I did not know what was wrong with my car. Not only were the repairs I needed reasonably priced, it was fixed that same day. He found several things that were wrong that I wasn't aware of. One of them being a tie rod end that needed to be replaced desperately and was actually very dangerous for me to drive it like it was. I will take my truck back there any time I need service done. Friendly and fast service that was very reasonably priced, and everything was given to me in writing as well as an explanation.

He gave me an estimate before the repair that was in-line with the online estimators and did a great job without trying to sell me some needless repair like the chain stores do.

Found Wagner's through the Car Talk website -- only mechanic with this many good reviews in the area. Gave them a hot, they did not disappoint. I was ready to spend big bucks but it turned out to be something simple -- a speed sensor. Quickly fixed and the Explorer is running like it always did... I would send my mom to this place -- not get her fixed, I mean if her car was broken!
