I never feel like the guy's at Steve's are trying to take
advantage of me. They tell what needs to be fixed and
what can wait. They are extremely easy to talk with and
are never too busy to explain your repairs in layman terms.

We trust Steve and his staff with our cars which equates to
our lives. We have 3 Subarus and they all have a file at
Steve's. The staff does back flips to make the customer
happy. Even the loaner cars have names. What more could you
ask for?

We have a few mechanics in our area, but most are a few
hours away. I have tried subaru dealers, but after
researching these guys on this website, I gave them a try.
They are extremely polite and helpful, let you know what's
needed to fix the problem, and what it will cost. Once they
underestimated the repair time on a repair, but only billed
me on their original estimate. Loaners are always available.
Worth the 65 mile drive for service work!

I was shopping around to find a good mechanic to get my
transmission fluid changed, and when I saw the great
reviews about Steve's Import Auto, I decided to take my car
there after getting a quote over the phone. The mechanics
are friendly and take the time to explain to you what is
wrong with your car. And their prices are reasonable. They
were so wonderful with my car, we also take my husband's
car there too! I baked them cookies as a token of our
appreciation.

Competent, reliable, friendly, honest ... are words that come to mind. When they
underquote, they stay with their original quoted figure. I have called them to ask
if this is something I can fix or need to bring it to them. They have not only told
me this is something I can do, but talked me through it, printed off the "step-
by-step" instructions from their computers AND offered to lend me tools too (I
am just a loyal customer ... not family, although they treat me that way!). Steve
and Joel get ALL my business (I have 5 cars when you include the kids vehicles).
They are probably not the cheapest shop in town, but certainly competitive and
far and away the best.

I got the idea of sending this in after stopping by the
shop the other day for some advice on my son's Subaru.
Even though I hadn't been in for years Steve and his
partner, Joel, were more than happy to answer my questions
(too bad, head gasket!). Anyway Steve's worked on my cars,
and friends cars, for over 20 years. You can trust these
mechanics!

We have no doubt that Steve's mechanics are honest and proficient. We've owned 7 Subaru's and would not take our cars to anyone else. 4 out of 4 members in our family drive a Subaru and all have been serviced by Steve's. They provide a loaner car if needed so we are never without a Subaru to drive! For a used car inspection, they are a good bet since they will point out the short comings of a potential purchase. When a part has to be replaced, they keep the part to show and tell...I appreciate knowing more about the mechanisms of my car and Steve always takes the time to teach.
