Gary is the owner of the shop and takes great pride in what he does. He has worked on all of our Japanese cars and always quickly figured out what was wrong and fixed only what he needed to. If it doesn't need something he will tell you.

Wonderful referral from Hurless Brothers (b/c Hurless doesn't work on Nissans). They replaced my CV boots on both sides, were able to give me a lift back to work, and explained their work beforehand. They noted that in terms of guaranteeing their work, if they ever replace the CV boots and then the axil did go bad within 12 mo. they give all free labor on the new axil. However, they said they're always honest if this more expensive repair is actually needed in the first place for certain. They've definitely become my mechanic of choice after doing some searching around town and on this site.

Friendly and competent. Plus, repair bill came in $50 under estimate!

Honesty is definitely his strongest point (and probably hardest to find elsewhere).

Gary is amazing. He's worked on both our Nissan Truck and two Toyota's for 15 years. He has never been unable to diagnose a problem immediately, he doesn't do more than needs to be done and I would trust him with any problem at all. I have never used the local dealer except when Gary has told me it's warranty work after finding a problem. My husband likes the fact that his shop is SPOTLESS! You can't go wrong with him.

Great experience! Found this shop based on Car Talk recommendations and decided to try them out after not-so-great experiences with both the dealership and a shop close to my home. Gary took the time to answer all my questions and offered advice on how to keep my 10-year-old Nissan running a few more years. I've always used the quick lube locations for my oil changes, but now I'm planning to take them to Gary. He admitted that his cost a little more, but they check EVERYTHING and keep track of what has been or needs to be done. Very friendly family atmosphere. Margaret and Gary were both a great help. I now have a "real mechanic" to call when my cars need help in the future. I'll take that over a dealership any day!

Best foreign mechanic I've found in town. They seem to know the ins and outs of Subarus. Everyone I've recommended them to has been pleased.
