They're off the beaten path, but I HIGHLY recommend these guys, Art and Ron. This is a specialty shop--repairs and restorations on classics, especially sports cars. They've been in the business for many years. They mostly work on European stuff--MGs, Alfas, Fiats, Triumphs, Jags, etc. Some American, too, I think. Not Porsches, though. They are very old school. They don't have advanced degrees in engineering, and they aren't going to hook your car up to a computer, but these are experienced mechanics and great people. They are enthusiasts who know and love these cars, who love talking about them and driving them. They are involved in local car clubs, autocross events, etc., so they know the community too. Also, they are a good source for new and used parts. I'm a huge fan.

They specialize in Alfa's, Jag's, MG's, Studebakers and especially LOVE Alfa's & Stude's. Art & Ron are fun to visit with. Give you the straight "skinny" ---.

BEWARE don't even think about bring you car to these guys. They have no clue what they are doing. They totally destroyed my Alfa Spider. Upon being delivery to me the engine wouldn't turn over and they caused several thousand dollars worth of body damaged. In the 9 months they the car went from turning over strongly to not turning overal at all. Art got into a brand new airflow meter and messed it up. He took my distributor out and replaced it with one that didn't fit. Art's a liar and hack. After several thousand dollars my car was in better condition before Art got his hands on it.
