I took my 96 Subaru Outback to Jon/John after several month of intermitten starting problems. I had figure out the starter was in less then optimum shape and wanted him to take a look. He got me in the day after I called, got the parts, and replaced my starter that afternoon. Very polite and knowledgable, honest opinions, very fair cost, knows his imports. Would take my car there again if (God- forbade) it has problems again.

Great guy. Very honest. He works alone, and he's a bit of
a character--though I mean that in the nicest way. He does
things his own way and keeps the hours he likes to keep.
That can be inconvenient for some, I suppose. On the other
hand, he'll take the time to explain things thoroughly. My
girlfriend used to take her car there, and he treated her
with respect. There are a couple things to beware of,
though. The first is that he won't take a credit card
unless you're willing to pay a surcharge. The second is
that he's great for the straightforward, especially
mechanical, jobs, but if you've got an elusive electrical
gremlin in a late-model car, that sort of thing, you may
want to go to the dealer. This is a back to basics type
shop. Not many computers lying around.

this guy is dirt honest....if he does screw up he tells you and includes you on the solution and or ideas....this guy could take my car for a month and i would not worry one second.

Hey, what a great guy. Works by himself and gives the straight story on everything. I trust him with my car without question and know that I won't get screwed...ever! If you don't want starbucks' or a $100,000 showroom with dish tv but want your car fixed right, he's your man.

John always teaches me something about how my auto
functions every time I'm in for repair or maintanence.
He'll get you under the hood or car to get an up-close
look. If he's unsure about a solution, he's up front about
it. He'll keep trying and figure it out.

I was lucky enough to find John by just going through the phone book. I can't
say enough good things about his work and my experiences. Between his very
fair pricing and his honest assessments of the problems, he's easily saved me
more than $1,000 in the last few years in repair costs I would have racked up
elsewhere. John is a thorough diagnostician and honest to a fault... none of this
"Well, I fixed X but your real problem is Y," stuff.
Let me put it this way: If my broker was as good as John, I would have retired
last year.

Great little shop that has parts all over...and I mean all
over. Like on the desk...on top of a box,etc...but don't
let it fool 'ya...he knows where it all is...really! Dead
cold honest....last of the single mechanics who loves to
work alone.Great guy....
