I have taken different vehicles in to Drake Garage on at least 5 occasions. Each time, they are completely honest about what needs fixed, and what doesn't. I have never felt that they were trying to fix something that didn't need fixed. At least once, the repair bill was TINY compared to what I thought it would be, because the solution was quick and easy, and they charged me fairly. Due to their popularity (because they are known as being honest), it can sometimes be a bit of a wait to get your car in. Also, the labor cost isn't cheap. The cost per hour is fair though. There are very few places I trust with my car, and this one has earned my trust.

Great Guys Rated top DM garage in Citiview for many years

I've been taking my cars for repair to the Drake Garage for
well over 6 years. My first experience at the Drake Garage
involved a 93 Plymouth Acclaim. I had taken the car to
another repair shop to find out what was wrong with it.
They ran all kinds of diagnostics ($$$)on the car but
couldn't find the problem. My brother referred me to the
Drake Garage after reading about them receiving an award. I
took my car in and was immediately greeted by Gus. They ran
diagnostics on the car and discovered the problem was with
the O-2 sensor. Ever since I've taken my car and now new
vehicle to the Drake Garage. I have always received
courteous service and have complete trust in them. When I
drop my car off for repair they call later in the day and
tell me what the problem is with the car and give me price
quotes for repairs. They have even prioritized the needed
repairs when I was on a tight budget so I knew what repairs
needed to be done immediately and which I could hold off on
for awhile longer. As a female customer I feel at complete
ease in dealing with the Drake Garage. They explain the
repair problems and quote me fair repair prices. Carl and
his crew run a top notch shop!! Simply the best.

They have often not charged for simple repairs (such as 2
second sensor cleaning). They also explain what needs to be
done and what can wait.

Drake Garage has been reliable, honest, and wholly breaking
the rep of devious/shifty auto repair individuals. I
breifly used my new car dealer for service. They were
difficult and expensive, I have returned to Drake Garage.

We have taken two different vehicles to the Drake Garage
over the last few years and have nothing but good to say
about them. They are friendly and competent. They are
quick to call about your vehicle. They do not do
unnecessary work. Drake Garage is a gem!

They have fixed many problems for me, big and small. I send
everybody I know to them because the do a great job, and
never screw you over. I had one "bad experience" with them.
I had a vehicle that had a dummy light on. Their equipment
couldn't read that particular error, so they took a shot in
the dark, and were wrong. They only charged me for the part
(no labor), but screwed up none-the-less. On the positive,
they fixed an old truck for me when I was broke (I think
they could tell), and only charged me for the part @ $35.00!
That got them a customer for life, and for the most part,
they've been top notch ever since.
Gotta say, they aren't the cheapest place in town, but
you'll save money in the long run because of their
competence, and integrity!
