Kyle has always gotten us in quickly, given us good advice, fast turn around & also tells us when we'd be better off either doing the repair ourself or possibly not at all. He is very honest & straight forward & is very reasonably priced. He does not tell you there are 10 other things that need to be fixed (unless it was actually true!). Nice guy! Highly recommend him!

My wife and I had one shop tell me it would cost $1200 to fix the car and it had to be done immediately. Kyle said it would need to be fixed but bring it back in six months. Six months later we went back and he only charged $650.

My 2004 Toyota Camry was due for its 30,000 mile service. Toyota told me at the 25K svc. that the 30K svc. would cost $440.00. Ironically, I heard a couple of days later on the CarTalk show that the 30K svc. was mostly an inspection of the car, and that a new car (they were referring to a lady caller's '99 Camry) doesn't need such a costly 30K service, and it should more legitimately cost about $200- $250 or thereabouts. So Toyota uses that 30K svc. as a major profit center, to the detriment of their customers. Kyle's chg'd me $219, did all the 30K svc. items that Toyota had listed in their owner's manual, and some items in addition to those listed, all for that low price. So I saved $220! And he only took 3 hrs. It is a myth that you will invalidate your warranty if you get your under-warranty car serviced outside of the dealership. Since the Toyota warranty is for 36K miles, or three years, whichever comes first, I highly recommend you ck. out Kyle's for a quality job at a fair price, whether or not you are in-the-warranty period or beyond it.

Kyle always has always saved me money by doing quality work, recommending not doing unnecessary repairs, providing feedback and advice when I have considered buying a car, making good referrals when needed, and alerting me as to what repairs I might need in the near future. He is highly ethical and environmentally conscious. I feel very fortunate to have him as a mechanic.

Kyle is incredible. He is knowledgeable, bright, honest (absolutely truthful about necessary vs. unnecessary repairs), and so reasonable. I started with Kyle because my colleagues raved about him, and I am now an unashamed fan. My old Toyota and I trust him completely. In addition you gotta love a guy who has such a strong literary background that he has a Transcendentalist on his vanity plates ! (It's a word puzzle.)

The first time I took my car to Kyle's was after driving over a parking lot barrier and damaging the front right wheel. One place wanted $150 for the repair, another place wanted $1500. I was freaking out about this, and asked my father for a good mechanic for a third opinion. He said that he was hearing stories about a guy who did small repairs for free and was well-known locally for his crazy honesty. (My father never had taking his car to Kyle's shop at this point; he does now.) I took my car to Kyle, he inspected it and said that it was damaged but to no consequence, and a repair would be pointless. That's so honest it's crazy. I've had subsequent repair done on this car by Kyle, and it's the only time in my life when I've felt good about spending money. It's weird. If he was a woman I'd divorce my wife and marry Kyle. One of the best humans that I have met.

Kyle can come off as brusque, but he's saved me a ton of money over the years and nobody does it faster. He came strongly recommended by a friend and thank goodness I found him. He worked on my first car in my first city and taught me many things. An all-around terrific mechanic!!

Kyle is smart (really smart), writes great poetry and doesn't suffer fools lightly. He's also honest, hardworking and very, very competent. You'll not find a better mechanic. At least I haven't.

Kyle worked on my car for 7 years, and always saved me money. He's also the fastest mechanic I've ever known, he always finished early, usually within a few hours of me dropping off the car. I would recommend anyone and everyone to him, he's been there for years and he's terrific.

We have taken our cars to Kyle for over 30 years and have NEVER had a problem with him/staff or with the work done. Repairs have ranged from tightening hoses for a radiator (for which he charged nothing) to new clutches, usually done same day. He's the best.
