My wife took her 2000 Mazda MPV to the dealership because
it had a ticking noise. The dealership normally gives us
straight up answers and good prices. I think they have
gone through some changes. There assessment was that the
ticking noise was due to two cracked exhaust manifolds and
it would cost $1700 to repair.
After researching the issue, I found that often the bolts
in the engine block loosen up and the repair is much
simpler. Since the dealership was now off my list (as was
my other normal garage - both have given me BS answers
recently) we started asking around our neighborhood.
Wayne's Automotive was recommended by a friend.
The repairs where done quickly and only for $450 (replaced
the bolts as the manifolds where fine).
The only issue we had was one of the mechanics dented our
car. My wife brought it to the owners attention. He
apologized and said it would have it fixed. The next
week, he called us and asked that we drop it off at a body
shop that we recommended. We got our van back that day
better then new.
I am pleased with the price, level of service, and more
importantly, Wayne's ability to quickly fix a mistake. I
will be taking my other cars to him going forward.

These guys are honest and good....when I've really
expensive repairs on the piece of junk jeep I have, they
have tried to work for price breaks, and if there's any
problems Wayne is quick to try to find a solution...highly
recommended

I have three cars, which are all high mileage (avg. is 175,000 miles) and there is no other mechanic that I trust more than Big Brother Auto (Formerly Waynes Auto). I consider myself a weekend mechanic, doing my own brakes and routine maintenance but when it comes to required repairs for my high mileage vehicles there is no one I trust more than Big Brother Auto to do only required repairs at a very reasonable price. In the past year, again on vehicles with excessively high mile (import and domestic vehicles) they have done a transmission, engine mounts, struts, raditors, rack & pinon, and everytime they described exactly what was wrong and provided very competitive pricing. The head Mechanic's name is Mike, and tell him Jim sent you.
