I've brought my Mercedes here several times in the past and every time it seemed like they charge more and more. I decided to get second opinions and they were HUNDREDS of dollars less that what this place tried to charge me. The final straw was when I brought my car in for an emergency check (my windshield wipers had stopped working in the rain and OF COURSE, my husband was out of town). They looked at it for 15 mins and couldn't even get the wipers down and sent me on my way. The owner (who is a nice guy) assured me that their tech had over 30 years of experience. It took my husband (with NO mechanical experience) five minutes to get the wipers down.
Then this place has the audacity to send me a bill for $70. ARE YOU JOKING? Attached to the bill was an estimate to get the wiper motor replaced (something we already had done by ordering the $100 part then having someone on St. Simons Island install it for $100). The estimate was $315 for the $100 part and $192 for the labor. Completely crazy. Stay away ... go to Southern Star on St. Simons Island instead. They are honest and fair ... and don't take advantage of their female customers.
