James, the contact person is upfront in explaining, I have a ten year old Volvo 960 that has needed a few repairs and they have done a great job.

I can't believe Diversified doesn't have more reviews! This place is fantastic! I've been going to see Jim for at least 15+ years. He's worked on all my Volvos and Toyotas and even my husband's Mercedes. Always honest. Reasonably priced. Not at all fancy (the shop waiting room is even a little dirty) but you wont find a better auto mechanic in Athens, GA. They are super busy so you may have to wait on the phone, but Jim will tell you when he can get to your car, and he wont do any work until he tells you the approximate cost of repair. He always tries to get you the best price too. Even on tires! Jim has figured out the best way to keep a customer is to be honest and treat people with respect, and he doesn't charge and arm and a leg.

I have a doughtier who attends UGA (I live in Tulsa) so I went to the Car Talk Mechanics File to find someone to help her with a problem she was having with her Volvo SUV. I cannot tell you how pleased I was (and relieved as a dad) to have found James. He was there to look at the vehicle at 9am sharp (she was concerned because she had a 10am class), diagnosed and fixed the problem and sent her on her way in no time. As a single young woman she said she felt perfectly comfortable and safe. We have found our mechanic in Athens. Thank you James, we look forward to doing business with you again.
