They have worked on my A/C, wiring harness, they are less expensive than Furrin. Furrin charges am arm and a leg, you can't walk out spending a fortune.

Warren and his crew of top notch mechanics are a real treat, especially in Florida where Subarus seem pretty rare and dealers and parts are few and far between. I first found Import Authority through this website while my wife was covering a story in Tallahassee for her newspaper. Once or twice I have strayed and lived (barely) to regret it, always coming back to them to fix the poor workmanship of others. They're the best, no matter where I live. Larry Zuckerman, Tallahassee

Al, at Import Authority, is the greatest mechanic in the world, ever. He is a mastermind and a genious. He has fixed my vehicles many times and I have never been sorry.

This is more by way of clarification. It's an exceeding
women-friendly place. There is a shuttle for drop-offs in a
very large area; not large enough for me. It's worth it to
have these people in my life and working on my car. They do
not have Saturday hours. None of these "inconveniences"
seem to deflect customers.

I've taken my old Honda Civic to them for over a year, and
they're honest and competent. They provide a ride to work
if you're there in the mornings. They explain the work that
needs to be done or has been done.
They are prompt to respond if something they've done is not
correct or needs additional repair. They perform quality
work. They provide roadside assistance through a service if
you get an oil change there. However, they are not
inexpensive. Though, I've never felt like they did an
unnecessary repair.
At times, they are busy and require 1-2 weeks notice. Also
at times, they fixed the problem the first time, but once I
had an issue with a combination problem including the
computer and O2 sensor. It took them three visits to finish
the job (which I only had been charged for one visit).
Nonetheless, they are persistent to complete the work with
quality.
I was recommended to them by two locals when I first moved
in the Tallahassee area. I recommend them if you want
quality and are willing to pay for it. I do suggest,
though, that you check out other mechanics for comparable
estimates.

I've been using Import Authority for almost 20 years. They
are excellent, highly professional mechanics, honest,
efficient and quick. In addition, they are personable and
friendly. I trust them utterly and recommend them
completely. An added plus is their waiting room--big
aquarium, comfy couch, lots of coffee and outlets for my
lap top. If NPR placed a webcam there, they might give the
Car Guys a run for their money! One time my car wouldn't
start--I got a bill for $6.35 for a loose battery
connection.

I LOVE Import Authority! From the year 2004 when I first found out about them from my boss until the time I moved away from Tallahassee (this past July) they serviced my vehicles (Honda Accord & Toyota Camry) and I NEVER had any problems with them. They are kind, funny, extremely competent, honest, and efficient! The sole reason they do not service my car now is because I no longer live in the area. Even now, I can call them with car questions all the way from Kansas and they will talk things through with me over the phone to make sure I am not being taken advantage of. I am still trying to find someone here that I trust with my car. I tried to bribe them to move with me, but no such luck! *real tears* But Seriously, I tell EVERYONE about them because they are Awesome and Trustworthy mechanics who will take care of your automobile needs as if you are family! I know this first hand!
