My car was making the infamous, nebulous "noise" that started WHEN it was being worked on by a different mechanic for a different problem. I tried 2 other shady mechanics who could not identify the problem, but offered to try to fix it for vast sums of money but no guarantees. I finally went to the Ford Shoppe. Alan took a tremendous amount of time looking over the car. He admitted he could not identify the cause of noise, but assured me it was safe to drive, and did not try to frighten me into doing expensive and unnecessary repairs. As a woman, I truly appreciate this kind of treatment from a mechanic (& anyone!). The folks are the Ford Shoppe are HONEST, kind, patient, and incredibly competent people. They call themselves the "Ford Shoppe", but they will work on any make of car. Forget the high volume, chain repair shops, forget the overpriced dealers, go see Alan at the Ford Shoppe, and you will be happy with the service you get and how your car runs.

I brought in my 1998 Expedition. The truck was really in bad shape. Barely running is an understatement. It was so bad that I didn't think it would make it there. It did make, but just barely. I talked to them and explained that the Expedition was making a knocking sound and would sometimes almost stall on me. I told them that I was traveling to Pittsburgh and I didn't think the Expedition would make it there the way it was running. They agreed and looked it over and have me a complete abs through breakdown estimate of what was needed for the repair and the cost of each item and the total. The price was beyond fair. Then I asked them if they could do the repair in under a week. I had to head to Pittsburgh and needed the Expedition to go up there. They said that wouldn't be a problem at all. Which was really surprising. A lot of shops would say it would be a minimum of a week. When I picked up the truck I was surprised at how well it was running. They brought it from the brink of death to have it running like the day I bought it. I was in fact so satisfied with their work and generosity that I brought my baby, a 2012 Mustang GT to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get it fixed. I was unable to pay immediately to fix my Mustang and Alan (The owner) offered to let me store it there until I could afford to get it fixed. A little after I had it there I had contracted Covid-19 and it completely stalled my life. With the downturn of the economy my company lost all of its business and I had to wait even longer to be able to pay for my Mustang. Alan had been in constant communication to see how I was doing. Didn't even bring up about my Mustang sitting at his shop for months on end. His concern was first and foremost was my health. I was in and out of the hospital and the whole shop was just so generous with taking care of my Mustang. I was FINALLY able to pay the shop for my Mustang. I got her back and again they do the best job I've ever had done on a vehicle. My Mustang just ran like a top. Drove as better as its ever been. He even educated me on full synthetic oil vs synthetic blend. He suggested going with what Ford recommends and use a synthetic blend. Even though it's a lower priced oil her recommended that instead of the more expensive oil. They put the customer FIRST at the shop. They not only treat you as a client, but also as a family member. I'll only take my vehicles to The Ford Shoppe for now on. They treat you REALLY well, but they also do some of the best repair work. I've never been so impressed with a business as I am with the Ford Shoppe. I have come to consider them family now. They're the best people you could hope to ever meet. I can genuinely recommend the shop. Everything they do is of the absolute best and highest quality. I'll forever be grateful to them for all they did for me.
