"Professional and honest shop - truly a class act"
After an unexpected breakdown on I95 on the return leg of a trip to FL Arrow was dispatched to bring fuel and tow my vehicle to safety if that wasn't the cause of it not running.
The driver was not only professional and courteous, but also helpful (tried to help find/correct the problem to get us going again) and even graciously helped to look for an item that was lost during they ordeal etc. Very nice during a stressful time.
Though it was on a weekend my car was immediately checked out upon bring towed back to the shop by their mechanic (Tom) and he did a thorough and quick job in determining the problem (the fuel pump had failed as I feared) and immediately began attempting to source the part needed.
Dawn in the office was also stellar as she not only helped us explore our options, and help with alternate transportation (we needed a rental to finish our trip) but also was knowledgeable, compassionate, and generally helpful, but also went above and beyond in helping to calm my wife who doesn't deal with things like this well.
After finding there were no options for sourcing a part that day we worked out a plan with the shop where we would return to pick up the car in a few weeks (after the holidays) and they were willing to help us by holding the car in a safe manner without any additional cost which was most accommodating.
I received an initial quote that was very fair (I normally do my own maintenance so that's a big deal) and upon picking the car up the final bill was within acceptable range of the estimate as it included the tow etc. No surprises!
Additionally they were able to source an OEM Saab supplier (Bosch) pump insert that was affordable, and their total bill was actually less than the complete pump at the dealer. Can you say fair!
I have to say thanks to the people at Arrow for being professional, helping make a bad day a little easier, and for being honest and not trying to take advantage of a bad situation.
One last thing I think is worth mentioning is that Tom had even offered to stay late on a Saturday to install the new pump if he could find one! That's a big deal when many places are not even open on the weekends!
