The owner/mechanic of South Bay Automotive, Bill Bowen, has been in the Eustis area for a long time. He used to work for Almand's Citgo with his brother, Dennis, but then ventured out on his own. He has very loyal customers and that list keeps getting bigger and bigger. Bill is a very nice person who always greets you with a smile on his face and a hand shake.

South Bay is a good shop. They will go out of there way to help you out. They score all A's from a guy that worked in autoparts for years.

Over the years Bill and his crew have provided me with professional and reasonably priced service. Most recently, I took them a car with a bad circuit that was blowing fuses. Bill got the car a few days after the dealer had run up an outrageous bill while accomplishing nothing but a negative experience. Bill fixed the car in less than half the time that the dealer used to reach his failed result. If you're looking for honest, competent, reliable and professional car care, this is the place to go in Central Florida's Golden Triangle region.

Bought a car from owner, Bill. Not knowing him, I had it checked at another local garage and was told the vehicle would need brake work soon and while the vehicle had two new tires, it would need the others replaced in the near future. Bill, without any prompting by me, offered to fix the brakes (although the repairs wouldn't need to be done for another 10,000 miles or so)at his cost, no labor, and ordered a pair of matching tires which he gave to me at his cost as well. He didn't have to offer to do either, and it was truly a blessing for me. When I got back to my home town, I had the car checked over again and was told that everything was in excellent shape. Thanks, Bill, for your kindness.
