The guy will go the extra mile to find and fix the problem
even if it is one of those intermittent problems which
drives other shops batty. He supervises and inspects any
work done by his employees and can keep a near-death
vehicle running for a couple of years somehow. Maybe he
just wills the damn things to run. He is however a bit
slow at getting repairs done because he is so very busy. I
have never had to return a car to him because the problem
wasn't corrected.

My truck broke down (brakes locked) near their shop as I was traveling through. I went in there as I could go no further, no other reason. It was 2:45 on a Friday. They dropped what they were doing and fixed my truck (caliper replacement) within 1.5 hours, and let me take my dogs in their office to cool off. The price was quite reasonable, and I am happy to recommend them.
