Art has always been honest, dependable and respectful to
me as a woman. He can detect a problem just by a phone
call and can schedule an appt as need by. He always test
drives the car after he repairs them and before it is
returned to you. He has serviced two of our Buicks that
are twelve years old from day one. We can watch him
repair our vehicles and better understand the time it
takes to make repairs. He stays on our car til it's done,
not like the dealerships that come and go while on a car.
They charge by job regardless of time spent. Art charges
us according to the time it took him and for labor &
parts. We have highly recommended him to friends and they
were all very appreciative.

I've brought my cars to Art's Auto for the past 20 years and
have never been disappointed in the service or the price.
He is HONEST and the problem gets fixed, no if, ands or
buts. In this day, it's hard to find an HONEST and
COMPETENT mechanic, Art is one of the few. If it doesn't need to be fixed, he will tell you. Try him, you won't be disappointed. My only fear is that he may decide to retire and then how will I find another mechanic as honest as him. He is the only mechanic who I would recommend to a friend.

I live in Central Florida. My air conditioner died
suddenly. The car only has 46K on it. Almost new.
My first reaction was to take it to a Chrysler Dealer. They
charged me $29 to look at it and said I needed an
Evaporator Coil. It took them 5 hours (I waited in the
lounge) to make this determination. This would cost me over
$1,100 because they had to remove the dash board.
I looked on this site and found 4 shops with good ratings.
I am retired and am on a tight budget. I called 2 and Art
told me it was nice that I had a diagnosis but he would
like to check it out, himself. I liked that response. He
checked it out promptly, for FREE, and determined it was a
switch and replaced it for me for $100. He is honest,
competent and prompt. What more could anyone ask. I will
refer everyone to do business with this shop, with
confidence. Thank you for this wonderful site.

I went here after visiting two shops to get estimates for A/C repair, both quoted a "complete replacement" for $800 & $900.
Got Art's off Mechanic's File, he quickly tested, replaced the liquid charged me $68 and I now have fully functioning A/C.
I will definately use him again and recommend him
